Tina Fitzclarence
· As a young person my school days were enjoyable and I was fortunate to have caring and inspiring teachers. This made me realize that teachers really do make a difference to young lives and that if I became a teacher maybe I too could make a difference in someone’s life.
· Quite a number of years on, I still enjoying being a classroom teacher. Each day is different with new challenges and often unexpected rewards. To build positive relationships and be part of a child’s learning and development is a very fulfilling experience.
· My aim is to provide a supportive, challenging, secure and enjoyable environment where each child can confidently reach their fullest potential and feel positive about themselves.
· The students in my care are my “during the day family.” Outside of school I strongly value the relationships I have with my friends and family. I enjoy relaxing with a good book, a bit of retail therapy and watching movies. (and playing the odd computer game.)
· I hope I can continue to make a difference in a child’s life, inspire young minds and provide support to 754 families and colleagues for as long as I am a teacher.
